Purchases from this site’s shop are regulated by The Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013 and relevant legislation.
The following terms and conditions apply to purchases made from http://kasperbrown.com/shop. These terms do not apply to commercial work or services, commissioned outside of this website.
Important terms
Package: refers to any services/ item purchased from the kasperbrown.com shop.
Gift Voucher: refers to any Package purchased as gift.
Booking: refers to a reservation made for a Package to be performed on a specific day and time.
Booking Confirmation: refers to the formal confirmation you receive from Kasper Brown Photography.
You/Your: refers to a customer who has purchased a Package.
We/Us: refers to Kasper Brown Photography.
Coverage
We provide our services within the UK and to clients who are within the UK.
Bookings and payments
A contract between You and Us is entered when a Package is successfully purchased from www.kasperbrown.com/shop.
Payment for packages must be made in advance of booking and subsequent performance, and must be made using the Paypal payment facilities provided.
Bookings are not deemed agreed and scheduled until we have issued a Booking Confirmation.
All shop prices are inclusive of VAT at 20%. The shopping cart and checkout pages show a breakdown of tax. Commercial and Group bookings, as well as other purchases placed outside of this online shop, exclude VAT and may be subject to separate quotations.
Hair and Makeup Artist
Optional fees for hair and makeup must be paid for in advance of Booking, and are subject to the same terms set out in the rest of this document.
Your right to cancel
You have the right to a 14-day cancellation period (starting the day after you purchase a Package) during which you may cancel your purchase for any reason and claim a full refund by emailing us at bookings@kasperbrown.com. In such cases, the refund will be issued within 14 days of us receiving the cancellation notification.
You cannot cancel and claim a refund if you have requested your Booking to be scheduled during the 14-day cancellation period, and have received a Booking Confirmation to that effect.
Rescheduling confirmed bookings
You may reschedule your Booking without incurring a fee by giving us 7 days’ notice. If you reschedule with a shorter notice, you may be subject to a fee amounting up to the price of the associated Package.
We reserve the right to reschedule your Booking without penalty by giving you at least 7 days’ notice. If you cannot subsequently agree a suitable alternative booking with us, we will issue you a full refund.
If we reschedule your confirmed booking with a notice that is shorter than 7 days, we will issue you a full refund and offer you an equivalent Booking for free on an alternative date.
Lateness and missed appointments
If you arrive late, your photo session will end at the originally agreed time. No part-refund will be issued.
If you do not attend your confirmed booking, you will forfeit your photo session and no refund will be issued.
Complaints
If you are unhappy with your purchase, before or after it has been performed, please email us on help@kasperbrown.com, detailing your concerns. We are committed to ensuring that you are completely satisfied with our service and will do whatever we can to resolve the matter and create a positive outcome for you.
Gifts
Bookings for Packages that are purchased as Gift Vouchers must be made and scheduled within 12 months starting the day after the Package was purchased.
Gift Vouchers can be redeemed by emailing us on bookings@kasperbrown.com, and if applicable, must be presented at the start of your Booking.
Gift Cards are non-transferable or negotiable and cannot be exchanged for cash or vouchers.
We reserve the right to refuse Gift Cards which we believe have been tampered with, duplicated or otherwise affected by fraud.
Gift Cards are dispatched within 1 working day and are delivered via Royal Mail within 2-4 working days.
Proof of Identification
Customers/subjects who are younger than 18 years old, and wish to be photographed by us, must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
Customers must bring a valid form of Photo ID and proof postal address to their Booking.
Copyright
You own the Copyright to the photographs that we give to you as part of your purchased Package.
We retain the Copyright to any remaining photographs taken during your Booking which do not form part of your purchased Package.
Privacy
We do not share your personal or contact information with any other party. Please read our privacy policy for more details.
